Dave Matthews Band es una banda norteamericana formada en Charlottesville, Virgínia en 1991, por el cantante y guitarrista Dave Matthews, baixista Stefan Lessard, Leroi Moore, que tocaba una variedad de instrumentos de soplo yendo del saxofone a la flauta, violinista Boyd Tinsley, baterista Carter Beauford y tecladista Peter Griesar. Todos conocieron Dave en Charlottesville.
