Abwehr, nombre del servicio de información del ejército alemán, activo de 1925 a 1944 . El líder de la Abwehr se llamaba Wilheim Canaris y ocupaba el puesto de almirante. Reportaba directamente al OKW (Oberkommando dé Wehrmacht), alto mando de las fuerzas armadas alemanas. [1][2][3][4]

El término Abwehr significa defensa.
