Yougo-Zapadnaïa (en ruso, Ю́го-За́падная), literalmente "del sur-oeste", es efectivamente el terminus sur-oeste de la línea Sokolnitcheskaïa, del metro de Moscú. Como una docena otra estaciones del metro que data de los años 1960 (aquí 1963), la estación fue construida sobre el de diseño estándar de pilares en base triangulaire (dice de diseño "centipede"). La arquitecta era Ya.V. Tatarjinskaïa. Físicamente indéfinissable, el tema de la estación es de color blanco. Yougo-Zapadnaïa Posee cuatro entradas, todas reagrupadas en la intersección de la Avenida Vernadskogo y de la Calle Pokrychkina.
Yougo-Zapadnaïa Es el una de las estaciones las más utilizadas del metro de Moscú, con una media cotidiana de 141.000 pasajeros, según un estudio llevado en 1999.
